Completed your first course and wondering how to progress to your International Certificate?
By successfully completing six OHlearning courses and a Personal Learning Portfolio you can take the assessment interview that will lead to the International Certificate in Occupational Hygiene. The International Certificate is an intermediate (technical) level qualification recognised by a wide range participating occupational hygiene organisations throughout the world.
By passing each of the courses you have demonstrated that you can carry basic practical assessments under the supervision of the course tutor. To demonstrate that you have the required levels of technical and practical skills in the workplace you will be required to compile a personal learning portfolio (PLP). This will document the practical application of your skills within your workplace and your further learning through experience.
The PLP is designed to be easy to compile with standard forms to record your experience and further learning. Detailed guidance on what is required is given in the Student Guide.
You can read more about the International Certificate and download the Student Guide on the About tab (blue) of the website in the section on Intermediate Qualifications.
What should I do next?
- Download and read the Student Guide
- Complete the PLP registration form and return it to your examining body.
